In short: in convertible ThinkPad Yoga models (X1 Yoga, X13 Yoga, L13 Yoga, Yoga 260/370/460/11E/12, P40 Yoga) you can replace 360° hinges, keyboard and palmrest with the unique Lift'n'Lock mechanism (keyboard hides when the screen rotates), touchscreen panels, Wacom digitizer, styluses, batteries and chargers. The most reliable way to match the right part is the FRU / Part Number printed on the original component. We confirm model compatibility against the official Lenovo Hardware Maintenance Manual and the laptop's As-Built number, so each part lists verified compatible models and replacement numbers. Below is the full list of ThinkPad Yoga parts grouped by component — click to go to the offer.

Frequently asked questions about ThinkPad Yoga parts

How does X1 Yoga differ from X13 Yoga and other Yoga models?

The X1 Yoga series (14") is the flagship of the family — more expensive, more advanced, with Thunderbolt ports, louder speakers and optional OLED. The X13 Yoga Gen 1+ (13") is the "little brother" — similar design but on a smaller screen and weaker. L13 Yoga and L380/L390 Yoga are older, leased business models. Yoga 260/370/460 are older generations. P40 Yoga is a convertible workstation with professional Quadro graphics. Each has a different set of parts, so choose by FRU number.

What is the Lift'n'Lock mechanism and can it be replaced?

Lift'n'Lock is Yoga's unique mechanism: when you rotate the screen into tablet mode, a plastic bezel around the keys automatically lifts and locks the keyboard under a smooth surface — so you can hold the laptop like a tablet without pressing anything. This genius solution became wear-prone — sometimes it loosens or cracks. It is replaced together with the keyboard and palmrest. You will find parts for your model in the Palmrest, keyboard, touchpad section.

Can the 360° hinge be replaced and what should I know?

Yes, the hinge can be replaced, but it is a harder repair — it requires disassembling the entire top shell and many screws. After years, the hinge mechanism wears out: the laptop "moves" in the case, you hear creaks or the screen doesn't close completely. If the hinges are failing — we recommend professional replacement. You will find original hinges and related parts (frames, covers) in the Display, cables and hinges section.

What stylus fits ThinkPad Yoga and does it wear out?

The stylus pointer is always Wacom AES (battery-free technology) with 2048 levels of pressure. The model depends on the Yoga generation — styluses are not interchangeable between generations. Most models hide the stylus in the case — the pen charges inside the laptop and is always ready to use. The tip (plastic end of the stylus) wears out over time and can theoretically be replaced, but the parts come as a complete stylus. Choose by FRU number in the Other small parts section.

Can the touchscreen panel in Yoga be replaced?

Yes, the touchscreen panel is a separate part — if it fails (does not respond to touch, but the display is fine) or is cracked, it can be replaced. It can be with a Wacom digitizer (stylus support) or without. Each Yoga model has its own panel — choose by FRU number in the Display, cables and hinges section.

What battery does ThinkPad Yoga have and which one to choose?

Yoga has an internal, soldered battery (not user-replaceable from the bottom like in older models). Different generations have different capacities (between 45–60 Wh) — choose the variant by the FRU number of your current battery. Separately there is a small CMOS battery backing up the BIOS settings. See the Main batteries section above.

What charger does ThinkPad Yoga use?

It depends on the generation: older Yoga 260/370/460 and L380/L390 Yoga charge with Slim Tip (rectangular plug, usually 45–65 W); newer X13 Yoga Gen 1+ and X1 Yoga Gen 5+ charge with USB-C Power Delivery (65 W or more). Check what you have now — Slim Tip chargers do NOT fit USB-C and vice versa.

How do I check the FRU number of a ThinkPad Yoga part?

The FRU number (Part Number) is printed on the component itself — on the hinge, palmrest, stylus, cable or battery. This is the most reliable and fastest way to match — especially since Yoga has many generations with similar looks but different parts. We described how to read the FRU number in our guide How to read a Lenovo FRU number.

Which ThinkPad Yoga parts are replaced most often?

The most frequently replaced: (1) 360° hinges (loosen, crack), (2) keyboard and palmrest with Lift'n'Lock mechanism (plastic cracks or wears), (3) battery (loses capacity over the years), (4) touchscreen panel (sometimes requires Wacom driver reset, sometimes panel replacement), (5) stylus (tip wears, sometimes entire pen). You will find all these items in the list above with their FRU numbers.
