🔧 INSTALLATION PROCESS

2. Remove the bottom cover screws and lift off the bottom cover
3. Disconnect the battery from the motherboard
4. Disconnect the keyboard and touchpad FPC cables from the motherboard
5. Remove the screws securing the palmrest to the bottom chassis
6. Remove the old palmrest and place the new one in the same position
7. Reconnect the keyboard and touchpad FPC cables
8. Secure the mounting screws
9. Reconnect the battery and refit the bottom cover
10. Power on the laptop and check the keyboard, touchpad, trackpoint and backlight function correctly
Installation by a qualified technician or someone experienced with laptop repairs is recommended.
