⚙️ PRODUCT OVERVIEW

A complete thermal module with two fans connected by a shared heatsink with copper heat pipes. Each fan has its own fin stack, and the CPU and GPU contact plates come with factory-applied thermal pads. The FCN fans are powered at 12V. Lenovo uses the same module in the Legion Slim 5 16APH8 and in the newer 16AHP9 and 16ARP9, so one FRU number covers all three models.

• Loud fans spinning at high speed even under light load
• Overheating: frame rates drop in games and CPU/GPU temperatures quickly hit the limit
• A faulty fan: rattling, grinding or an impeller that does not spin at all
• A clogged or corroded heatsink causing weak, hot airflow from the vents
• The laptop shuts down under heavy load due to overheating
