⚙️ PRODUCT DESCRIPTION

Complete eDP cable connecting the IPS panel to the motherboard (label marking "MY5A4 EDP CABLE IPS", manufactured by Luxshare-ICT, part number DC02C01AJ10, revision 0A). The motherboard end is a flexible FPC tail printed "MB", the panel end is a connector with a metal spring latch. The cable is factory shielded and its mounting surfaces are covered with protective film. Lenovo lists FRU 5C10S31493 (part number DC02C01AJ00) as an equivalent substitute.

⚠️ Important: this cable is intended for the 15.3" IPS panel version. Legion 5 Gen 10 versions with a 15.1" OLED panel use a different cable (5C10S31498 / 5C10S31499).

🔧 INSTALLATION PROCESS

1. Turn off the laptop and disconnect the power supply and all external devices
2. Remove the screws securing the bottom cover and carefully take it off
3. Disconnect the battery from the motherboard
4. Disconnect the eDP cable from the motherboard
5. Remove the display bezel and disconnect the old cable from the LCD panel
6. Install the new cable with the "MB" end towards the motherboard, route it along the original path, peel off the protective films from the mounting surfaces and connect both connectors
7. Reassemble the laptop in reverse order, power it on and check the picture on the screen
Replacement by a technical service or a person experienced in laptop repairs is recommended.
