How does the ThinkPad P53 differ from the P53s?

These are two different machines. The P53 is a full workstation (powerful processors, Quadro RTX graphics, advanced cooling), while the P53s is a light, thin model with much lower performance and a different design. Parts between them are usually NOT interchangeable - choose by FRU number.

Do parts from the ThinkPad P52 or P15 fit the P53?

The P53 sits between the P52 (predecessor) and the P15 (successor). Some elements are similar, but they are separate designs and many components are not interchangeable. The safest choice is a part listed for the P53 directly, by FRU number.

What battery does the P53 have and which one to choose?

The P53 has a large internal battery. Choose the matching cell by FRU number. Separately there is a small CMOS battery backing up the BIOS settings.

Which LCD cable should I choose for the P53?

What charger does the P53 use?
