Do parts from the ThinkPad W520 or T510 fit the T520?
Partly. The T520 shares its case, display cable, hinges and many mechanical parts with the W520 (same Sandy Bridge generation, W520 being the workstation version with a Quadro card) and with its predecessor, the T510. Match motherboard- and port-specific parts strictly by FRU number.
What battery does the T520 have and which one to choose?
The T520 has an external battery, replaceable from the bottom of the case. We currently do not stock a main cell for the T520 - ask us if you need one. A CMOS battery backing up the BIOS settings is available (the CMOS batteries section above) - choose it by FRU number.
Which LCD cable and bezel should I choose for the T520?
The T520 came with an HD (1366x768) panel and an HD+ (1600x900) panel - the cable and front bezel are shared between both (same FRU number as the W520/T530/W530). A mismatched cable means no image; see the Display, cables and hinges section above.
Which keyboard and palmrest fit the T520?

The T520 is a laptop with Intel 2nd generation processors (Sandy Bridge). We currently do not stock a motherboard for the T520 - ask us with your configuration (processor, integrated or dedicated graphics) and we will look for a matching one.
What charger does the T520 use?
The T520 charges with a round-tip (7.9 mm) adapter of 90 W - the same type as the T510/T530/T410/T420/T430/X220/X230. Do not permanently use a weaker, lower-wattage charger.
