3. Disconnect the fan cable from the system board
4. Loosen the 4 plate screws in the order marked on the plate (a, b, c, d) and release the cables from the holder on the thermal module
5. Remove the old assembly and thoroughly clean the old paste off the processor
6. Apply about 0.2 g of new thermal paste to the processor
7. Fit the new assembly, tighten the screws and connect the fan cable
8. Refit the cover, insert the battery, connect the power adapter and check that the fan works
Hold the assembly by both sides of the heat pipe, do not touch the impeller and do not bend the heat pipe. Installation is recommended by a technical service or a person experienced in laptop repairs.
