🔧 INSTALLATION PROCESS

2. Remove the 11 lower case screws (7 × M2 × 6 mm, 4 × M2 × 4 mm), pry up the latches and remove the lower case
3. Disconnect the battery from the system board (pull the connector with your fingernails, not the cable), remove 2 M2 × 3.5 mm screws and take out the battery
4. Disconnect the touchpad cable from the touchpad board
5. Remove the touchpad bracket screws and take off the bracket
6. Take out the old touchpad and place the new one in the same spot in the palmrest
7. Refit the bracket, fasten the screws and connect the touchpad cable
8. Reinstall and reconnect the battery and refit the lower case
9. Power on and check cursor movement, clicks and gestures
Replacement by a technical service or a person experienced in laptop repair is recommended.
