3. Disconnect the battery from the motherboard
4. Remove the screw securing the existing M.2 drive and slide it out of the slot
5. Insert the new drive into the M.2 slot at a slight angle, press it down and secure it with the screw
6. Reconnect the battery, refit the bottom cover and tighten the screws
7. Power on the laptop, check that the drive is detected in BIOS and install the OS or restore your backup
