Be careful. The X1 Carbon Gen 5 (2017) and Gen 6 (2018) are very similar designs and some components (e.g. certain cases, cables) are sometimes shared - but NOT all. The Gen 4 (2016), however, is an older chassis with Slim Tip charging and its parts usually do not fit.
