5. Disconnect the fan power cables from the motherboard
6. Gently lift and remove the old cooling system
7. Clean the remains of thermal paste from the processor and the graphics chip
8. Apply new thermal paste to the processor and GPU
9. Place the fan and heatsink assembly in the place of the old one
10. Tighten the securing screws in the proper order (preferably in a cross pattern)
11. Connect the fan cables to the motherboard
12. Install the casing cover and connect the power supply
