❓ WHEN SHOULD YOU REPLACE THE LCD BEZEL?

• Problem with a peeling bezel that lifts away from the display cover at the corners or edges
• Problem with a cracked or bent bezel after a drop or a pinched lid
• Problem with a bezel damaged during a screen replacement - an adhesive bezel easily deforms when removed
• Problem with a scratched or worn bezel around the screen, visible every time you open the laptop
• Problem with a bezel from a different camera variant that does not fit - the window misses the IR sensor and Windows Hello does not work

🔧 INSTALLATION

1. Turn off the laptop and disconnect the power supply
2. Gently pry the old bezel with a plastic tool, starting from the bottom edge, without pressing on the panel
3. Remove the bezel, warming the adhesive tape slightly with a hair dryer if needed
4. Remove the old tape residue from the display cover and degrease the surface with isopropyl alcohol
5. If the new bezel has no adhesive tape, apply a thin double-sided tape around the edge
6. Position the bezel starting from the top edge with the camera window, align it and press it down all the way around
7. Start the laptop and check that the camera and Windows Hello login work
Replacement by a service technician or a person experienced in laptop repairs is recommended.
