5. Fit the new cable: MB end to the system board, I/O end to the I/O board, pressing the connectors down evenly until they click
6. Reassemble in reverse order and connect the AC adapter, which re-enables the built-in battery
7. Boot the system and check the ports on the I/O board
Replacement by a technical service or a person experienced in laptop repairs is recommended.
