5. Unscrew the screws securing the palmrest to the laptop housing
6. Carefully pry up and remove the old palmrest
7. Position the new palmrest and connect the ribbon cable to the motherboard
8. Screw in the screws securing the palmrest
9. Reattach the cover and battery
10. Turn on the laptop and check that the keyboard works correctly
