🔧 INSTALLATION PROCESS

1. Turn off the laptop, disconnect the AC adapter and all external devices, and disable the built-in battery in BIOS (Config → Power → Disable built-in battery)
2. Remove the base cover screws and carefully lift off the cover
3. Disconnect the battery from the system board
4. Disconnect the cables, unscrew the hinges and remove the display assembly
5. Move the system board with cooling, battery, speakers, SSD and touchpad into the new palmrest
6. Connect the keyboard and backlight cables, screw in the hinges and connect the remaining cables
7. Refit the base cover, start the laptop and check the keyboard, backlight, TrackPoint and hinges
Replacement by a technical service or a person experienced in laptop repairs is recommended.
